Hi I’m Alicia and I am the owner and artist behind Biscuits By Design.

Situated at Congupna Victoria in the Goulburn Valley only minutes from Shepparton, I am surrounded by paddocks of grazing cows, horses and fruit laden orchards. I couldn't ask for a more beautiful part of the country to live and work in. 

 

I found my love for decorating biscuits purely by accident. I participated in a local community Christmas fundraiser which involved decorating a gingerbread house. Friends and family were impressed and asked if I would make their festive centrepiece.

Many gingerbread houses later and with Christmas over I found myself at a loss and it was suggested that I try icing biscuits. I found I had some natural talent.  Using the finest ingredients I mastered flavours and texture, practiced and improved my skills, samples were distributed and feedback was great.

I decided this is what I wanted to do full time. With my families support I left my employment in the food industry, had my home kitchen registered and certified and I concentrated on my budding business. That was over 8 years ago and I have enjoyed every minute building up the successful home-based business it has become today.

I love taking your ideas and designing something personalised and special, it is truly one of my greatest enjoyments.
